WEST SPRINGFIELD, MASS., – Atlantic Aerospace has earned QSLD approval to sell rivets, Class 2 and Class 3 threaded products to the federal government.
The QSLD, or Qualified Suppliers List for Distributors, is a pre-qualified list of sources that the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) uses to purchase products. Fewer than 130 distributors nationwide are QSLD qualified to sell rivets, Class 2 and Class 3 threaded products.
Class 3 threaded fasteners are typically used in aerospace applications, while Class 2 are primarily used in land and maritime applications.
To earn qualification, Atlantic was audited by the DLA, which reserves the right to re-audit at any time. The QSLD is a renewable, three-year qualification.
